The Ribbit team would like to invite you to experience Ribbit for Mobile (R4M). During the beta release, we are asking for your help to grow and improve the product as we simultaneously iron out some known challenges.
In 2008, BT purchased Ribbit, Silicon Valley’s First Phone Company. Ribbit is an open, programmable communication platform that lets developers add rich voice and communication features to software applications, websites and communities. Ribbit also develops innovative applications that integrate your mobile phone, email and the web; like Ribbit for Mobile.
With Ribbit for Mobile, you can extend your mobile phone to your browser for more functionality. Quickly convert your voice mails into email or SMS, route your phone to any number, or have it ring on your computer. Have your messages searchable and never miss a call. Suddenly you can do more with your phone without changing the phone you have.
Help shape the future of BT with Ribbit
The acquisition of Ribbit is strategically important for BT and will give consumer and enterprise customers new products that push innovation and productivity in a new category driven by the convergence of mobile phones and the web. How can you be a part of this revolution? Try Ribbit and share your insights, experiences, and observations.

OK, So I’ve signed up for an account and tried to login. But the Ribbit page is stuck at “Loading account information” and goes no further. Is it just a problem with my account or everyones?

Hi Philip - You might want to make sure your settings show translation is enabled. Log into your account, click settings and Devices. Make sure the transcription voice bubble is green (enabled) for email and/or mobile SMS.
Hi Sean and Gary - Clear your cookies and try logging on again from a new browser.
Let me know what you find. Thanks, Mike
